Aeon Super Shield (1.0) - File Description  


Description:
This Mod ads the ability for Aeon players to build the experimental super shield seen in the last mission of the campaign, although its original name was "Aeon Palace" I change it to super shield to fit its purpose.
the super shield will be in the experimentals build options area and its stats are as follows:
Health = 12000
ShieldEnergyDrainRechargeTime = 5
ShieldMaxHealth = 50000
ShieldRechargeTime = 24
ShieldRegenRate = 150
ShieldRegenStartTime = 1
ShieldSize = 100 (original game Light shield size is 20, and heavey shield is 35)

It will cost:
Build Energy = 750000,
Build Mass = 550000,
Build Time = 30000,
Consumption of Energy = 3000

Readme File:
Extract the contents of this zip file to your mods folder in the forged alliance
install directory.
Example: C:Program FilesTHQGas Powered GamesSupreme Commander - Forged AllianceMods

If no mods folder is there then just make one.
enable the mod in the games mod manager for skirmish games.

I'm not sure if AI uses it, I don't think I ever seen a AI player build any experimental unit.

try using sorian AI but I doubt it. also do you have it set up so that if you build power generators around it it costs less to power?

Great mod!
One issue though. The strategic overlay for countermeasure shows that this shield is bigger than it actually is. The orange circle that shows up when you mouse over the shield is much larger than the area the shield actually covers.

@Eluvatar: This shield has no adjacency bonus.

So, beef682, could you also make this shield support adjacency bonus please?
