Chain of Command (v1.0) - File Description

Description:

This is the first 'mod' I have ever released on filefront, I suppose it is actually more of a small scripting change, however it appears in mod-manager.

What Chain of Command does is REPLACE the Assassination game mode (only when it is active in mod manager, otherwise assassination mode is unchanged) victory conditions so that all Commanders and Support Commanders must be destroyed. I felt this was more fitting to the style of the game, as when a Support Commander is warped in it is another human being on the battlefield. The change basically turns the Assassination game mode into a 'Destroy all Humans' type of mode, where once the Support Commanders and Commander are destroyed the game ends. I have tested multiple times and it is fully functional.

On a side note, if while you are playing you check game info via the button on the top of your window, under victory conditions it will/should say 'Assassination (Chain of Command Mod Active)' and the description should also be changed to include support commanders, if they have not been changed under this window, it is likely that the mod isn't functioning for some reason.

That is all, I hope some of you enjoy this new game mode, I personally like it, Assassination has always been my favorite and this is a way of giving yourself extra lives I guess.

Looks good thou one thing that you might want to note, in FA this mod dose work, but when you enable it it will not change the description of assassination in the lobby, this is more or less unavoidable the only thing to do is restart FA with the mod enabled and then the lobby description will be changed.

Andreaz, It is possible, I had made one that showed up under the list as well, the only problem I ran in to with it was that it wasn't a mod that someone could activate for a multiplayer game, instead it was a change to the main lua file and I thought that it would just be better to release it this way, that way friends won't drop out of a game because of unidentical files ( I have no clue if SC actually does this, I just know most games do, so again, this seemed easier) I could put up that version as well though.

Ok Zugone.
I'm playing with this mod permanently now anyway. I love longer supcom games and this is perfect for that. It is one of those basic ideas that I would have expected to be in the game out of the box anyhow. So thanks.
