ForestPlanet FA (V2b) - File Description  


Description:
The evacuation of the UEF Prime Worlds did not go smoothly. Thousands of civilians were forced into refugee camps that could barely sustain them, like the one on Mersela. The inhabitants of this camp were barely surviving the harsh weather and brutal rationing when an Order scout found them. Now, the Coalition and the Order are dueling over their fate.

5x10 - 4 player - FA AI - Reclaimables

This is the update to my existing 5x10 version from 2008.

- Redone a lot of decals
- Redone all props
- New Lighting settings
- New Water settings
- 9 stratums (sweet)
- Better FA AI (by Dragon Fly)
- 2 extra mass spots in the middle
- Better terrain balance to make the map more Tournament worthy. I found a terrain balance bug in my first Vault release from last year. It's gone now

Posts: 1836 		Could you specify the error please? Also, the upload system has limits regarding the image's file size, looking at the dimensions you mentioned it is likely they exceeded it. If you would like to have them posted (I can resize them for you) please send them to my E-Mail adress which can be found in the staff list.

Posts: 5 		Yes it has. Dragon Fly helped me out with the AI. There are no water markers, that just destroyed the gameplay.

Posts: 5 		Hey Digz, yeah the map has improved a lot since my first Vault release of September 12 2008, that one took me 25-30 hours to create. From the first 5x10 version to the 10x10 (80 to 90 hours), and from the 10x10 version to this one (40-45 hours).

And let's not forget all the AI tests, Xfire counts 700+ hours at the moment, that is all exclusive editor time (more than 450 hours). I've played this latest version about 50 times before I released it. It just had to be as perfect as possible smile

Don't forget to rate the map. It deserves a 10 at least ^^ haha
