Description:
Welcome to my brand new Uk Map, GB, Great Britain, British Isles or whatever you wish to call it...


*****Created Specially for supremecommander.filefront.com users - For every 10000 downloads - I will make a new map (requests taken)*****



A full UK based map for extremely big battles in Forged Alliance and Supreme Commander. Tested with Sorian AIx 7 vs 1 and got annihilated several times which is nice. Try south wales if you like a challenge, surrounded by AI.

The terrain is slightly higher than actual scale but apart from that everything should be in the right places. Enjoy - Also look for my map pack in the supcom map pack folder (works with Forged Alliance too)

Installation:

Couldn't be easier

win xp and below:
Just unzip the file into you supreme commander/FA installation folder, into the folder called /maps. Make sure you do not put the maps into 1 container folder. In you maps directory there should be 1 folder per map name - as it is in the zip file.

vista 32/64:
Just unzip the file into your DocumentsMy GamesGas Powered GamesSupreme Commander Forged AllianceMaps folder. Make sure you do not put the maps into 1 container folder as above. In you maps directory there should be 1 folder per map name - as it is in the zip file.

If you wish to install the maps into both SC and FA - just add the files to both the SC map folder and the FA map folder respectively.


You will also find all of my maps in the GPGnet vault. Keep your eye out for more in the near future either on filefront or the vault

appreciation goes a long way. These maps where developed for our LAN game sessions based on what we wanted from the game. They may not be to everyone's taste - but hey, they should at least be available. Make your own choice, enjoy or winge at your leisure - but PLEASE don't winge to me. I much prefer positive feedback for my unpaid efforts than people picking up on MEX alignment and my spelling! ;)

Posts: 10 		If anyone can guess in this thread the 'real life location' of screenshot 7 (ie the closest town to the fatboy) - i will upload a fully FA AI compatible (with proper FA markers - now I have the means...) version of this map, and a smaller version of my octopolis map...

Posts: 10 		well - nobody won - it was lancaster (looking south, trough of bowland on the left. But seein as everyone is so nice - i have uploaded a new map - PIER PRESSURE Xtreme to the FA 6-8 player maps folder - enjoy!!
